FUTURE VISION AND FACILITY PLANS -Intervention Home & Center

MFCAF Intervention Home and Center

Breaking the Cycle: MFCAF Intervention Home and Center

At the MFCAF Intervention Home and Center, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering

environment for at-risk children and families in Orange County and surrounding communities. Our facility provides a

sanctuary where youth can heal, grow, and find consistent support through daily mentoring, holistic care, and

trauma-informed programming.

A Crisis of Fatherlessness

In 2023, over 17.8 million children in the United States grew up without their fathers-many lacking any form of positive

male role model. This absence often leads to identity confusion, exposure to abuse, and vulnerability to harmful

influences online and in the media. Young men, in particular, are turning to unconventional and often unhealthy

sources-like social media, television, or the streets-for lessons in manhood and self-worth. MFCAF exists to interrupt this

cycle.

What We Offer at the Intervention Home and Center

Target Age Group: Youth aged 13 to 18 who are fatherless, abused, or in crisis.

Our services include:

- The Release Room - A private, calming space designed for mental decompression and emotional release.

- Mentoring Sessions - Daily one-on-one and group mentoring built around relationship-building, character development,

and trust.

- Holistic Activities - Including therapy-informed discussions, mindfulness, stress relief games, gardening, creative

expression, poetry nights, and more.

- Crisis Response & Guidance - Trauma support, conflict resolution, and healing practices led by trained caseworkers

and mentors.

Daily Relational Mentoring: Building Trust Through Experience

MFCAF mentors are more than volunteers-they are lifelong role models. Our mentors engage in daily and weekly

activities that provide structure and joy for youth, including:

- Park visits and outdoor adventures

- Movie nights and cultural outings

- Sports and athletic training

- Dining out and etiquette coaching

- Academic tutoring and life skills support

- Career path exploration and vocational planning

- Counseling check-ins and wellness coaching

These shared experiences create authentic relationships, giving youth the space to open up, trust, and accept guidance.

Our mentors are trained to encourage, affirm, coach, and counsel, helping each child recognize their potential and take

ownership of their future.

Our Impact & Vision

Since our founding in 2021, MFCAF has directly supported over 250 families, reducing rates of:

- Youth crime and gang involvement

- Domestic violence and child abuse

MFCAF Intervention Home and Center

- School dropouts and emotional breakdowns

Through partnerships with CareerSource, Second Harvest, AMIkids, Promising People, and the Orlando Magic, we're

expanding our programs countywide to ensure every child has access to a mentor and a safe place to grow.

How You Can Help

To sustain and grow these transformative services, we invite your partnership. Your donation, sponsorship, or volunteer

time makes it possible for us to:

- Expand our Intervention Centers

- Train and certify more mentors

- Offer food, transportation, and field trips

- Provide safe housing and counseling to families in crisis

Together, we can break the generational cycle of fatherlessness and ensure that every child knows their life has

purpose.
