Mentors For Fatherless Children And Abused Families (MFCAF) is a mental health registered
501(c)(3) non-profit outreach organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth aged 13-18
who are facing significant life challenges, as well as families affected by abuse.
Breaking the Cycle: MFCAF Intervention Home and Center
At the MFCAF Intervention Home and Center, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering
environment for at-risk children and families in Orange County and surrounding communities. Our facility provides a
sanctuary where youth can heal, grow, and find consistent support through daily mentoring, holistic care, and
trauma-informed programming.
A Crisis of Fatherlessness
In 2023, over 17.8 million children in the United States grew up without their fathers-many lacking any form of positive
male role model. This absence often leads to identity confusion, exposure to abuse, and vulnerability to harmful
influences online and in the media. Young men, in particular, are turning to unconventional and often unhealthy
sources-like social media, television, or the streets-for lessons in manhood and self-worth. MFCAF exists to interrupt this
cycle.
What We Offer at the Intervention Home and Center

ownership of their future.
