As positive role models, mentors engage in planning activities, aiding in goal setting, and cultivating an environment of mutual respect and increased self-esteem. To qualify, individuals must reside in Central Florida, be 21 years or older, and possess a genuine interest in working with youth. Desired qualities for mentors include being an attentive listener, encouraging, patient, flexible, and respectful. The rewards of mentorship extend beyond personal fulfillment, encompassing satisfaction derived from contributing to community and individual growth, along with participation perks such as group activities and event tickets.
